Stewart Law Firm was formed in 1981 by Santa Rosa County native Dan Stewart. His parents, William and Emily Stewart, located here when Dan was a child after Bill served in the United States Navy.

Dan attended Pace area schools and graduated from Milton High School in 1972. He attended Pensacola Junior College before obtaining a bachelor's degree and graduating from Mississippi College School of Law in 1980. He passed the Florida bar exam in 1980 and then returned home to Santa Rosa County to establish a practice rooted in personal injury law.

Dan is married to Ava Powell, a practicing attorney in her family's law firm. He has two children, Shena Stewart Simmons and Grace Stewart. Today, he resides and works in Santa Rosa County. He has built his practice with a commitment to helping the injured. He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, auto accidents, Social Security, work injury/workers' compensation, and wills.
